NEWSLETTER - WINTER 2003 - 2004
PASSAGE OF YEAR 2004 BUDGET. The Board of Directors has passed the 2004 Budget as proposed. This means the Proposed Budget will become the Actual Budget for 2004. The quarterly assessments will remain at $1030 for 2004.
REMINDERS
2. RENTAL POLICY (#2 OF Tamarind Rules)
Rental Application - Forms are available from the Managers office and must be completed and submitted by the owner or authorized agent. Each lease or rental must be for a minimum of two (2) weeks. Advance approval by the Board is required for the rental or lease of a unit and the application must be completed and submitted by an owner or an owner’s authorized agent at least two (2) weeks in advance of tenant arrival.
3. RIGHT OF ENTRY (XXIX, A. Declaration of Condominium)
Emergency Access. If you change your locks they must be keyed to the Association Master Key and a key must be provided to the Association office. If an emergency requires access to your unit and entry cannot be gained via the passkey or the key on record, whatever method of access that the emergency dictated would be used and the cost of access or subsequent repairs would be borne by the unit owner.
4. VENDOR ACCESS.
For reasons of security and liability, it is the policy of the Association Office not to sign out unit keys to anyone without the owner’s PRIOR approval. If you have engaged the services of a contractor or repairman and have instructed them to obtain a key from the Association Office to gain access to your unit, please contact the Association Manager and grant your approval to release the key. Although many of the vendors are known, without receiving your specific expressed approval puts the Office in an awkward position of guessing your intent. Under no circumstances will a key be signed out to a private individual (non-tradesman) or unknown vendor without receiving approval from the unit owner.
5. OWNER INFORMATION
Please remember to notify the Association Office if you have a change in your mailing address or telephone numbers so the Association records are accurate.
DIRECTOR JOE
Director Robert (Joe) Vanleuven was involved in a serious automobile accident while driving near his Michigan home. Although his injuries resulted in corrective surgery and extended hospitalization, he has recently been released to continue his convalescence at home. Please include Joe in your thoughts and prayers and join in wishing him a complete quick and speedy recovery. Hope to see you in sunny Florida soon Joe.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
