NEWSLETTER - FALL 2002
Well here we are back in the fall season again. It has been a hot, humid summer and September hasn’t changed much except now it rains almost every day. The grass, trees and weeds are growing overnight. We were lucky to have gotten our larger projects started early in the spring, but still have a considerable amount of work to finish which we are trying to fit in between the rainstorms. For those of you fortunate enough to have been up North, we hope you had a great summer and we look forward to seeing you back. And for you people who were here at Tamarind --THANK YOU for putting up with all the inconvenience.
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
NEW COMPUTER: We have purchased a new office computer and we are now making roster, accounting and various other changes in house. During the process we found numerous changes in owner addresses, telephone numbers and zip codes, etc. We can undoubtedly find you with a little diligent effort, however; we would appreciate a call or card when you have a change of location, change of deed owner and especially when the telephone company changes your area code or the post office changes your zip code number so that we don’t loose you altogether.
LEAVING MESSAGES ON THE TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINE: Unfortunately you cannot restrict unsolicited calls from vendors on a commercial telephone. Consequently, we receive numerous calls from people trying to sell something or other, especially at night and on weekends. If you do have occasion to use the answering machine please leave your name, unit number and a short message regarding the reason for your call. Otherwise, if you only leave a number, you’re probably not going to get a call back until the next business day and if it happens to be a Friday that could be two or three days later. We realize many of you work during the day and it’s not convenient to call during your working hours. However, if we know who’s calling and the urgency of your call, we are in a better position to be of assistance.
BOAT TRAILER STORAGE: Mercury Marine has bought the small marina across the street from Gulf Realty and it is no longer available for boat or trailer storage. The Manager’s office does have the names and telephone numbers of two locations off of San Casa Drive in Englewood which cater to boat, trailer and motor home storage, but arrangements do have to be made in advance of arrival.
